Buck Service

This year I will be providing Buck Services again. Many farms have decided to not provide the services anymore because of the biosecurity problems they can bring to your farm. However, I know that finding a farm that provide buck services is extremely hard.  I also know how hard it is to own a buck and for many people its not an option. I hope that we can work together to make sure all goats involved are healthy and safe!

GUIDELINES & REQUIREMENTS:

 

Testing & Health: 

All does participating in breeding must have a vet record within the last year proving negative test results to CAE, CL and Johnes. If does appear sick (visible evidence of parasites, mites, hoof rot, open wound etc...) they will not be allowed to breed. 

 

Price: 

• Buck rag can be included free of charge. 

• 1-2 does: $75 per doe (with one free re-breed. If more re-breeds are needed then $25 per breeding). 

• 3 or more does: $50 per doe (with one free re-breed. If more re-breeds are needed then $25 per breeding). 

**re-breeding is when doe did not settle and is bred again with 2 months of original breeding.

• Payment options: cash preferred (Venmo and checks accepted)

• Payment is due before breeding

Please keep in mind:

• We can not guarantee successful delivery or pregnancy. 

• The health of all goats involved is our biggest priority. Please make sure to only bring your goats if they are in good health.

• At this time we are only providing "driveway breeding" and no boarding services. This means you must be able to drive your doe to our our buck to breed when your doe is in heat. 

• We love to hear about and see pictures of the kids sired by one of our bucks!
